Syed Nafiul Islam earned his LL.B (Hons.) degree from the University of London, UK as an external student of Bangladesh in 2008. After completion of his graduation he went to the UK for his Bar Vocational Course (BVC) and successfully completed his BVC and PGDL from the Northumbria University and in 2011 was called to the Bar of England and Wales from the Hon’ble Society of Lincoln’s Inn, UK.
Upon his return to Bangladesh, he became the Head of Laws and part time lecturer of the Newcastle Law Academy, Sylhet. Subsequently he joined with various law chambers and gained invaluable experience in handling complex litigations involving various election matters, service related claim, Artha Rin Adalat Ain and Negotiable Instruments Act cases, and various civil matters, including Writ, Civil Revision and First Appeal and diverse range of Criminal litigation including Bails, Quashment, Criminal Appeal both at the High Court and Appellate Division of Bangladesh. Along with his work life Mr. Islam completed his Mater of Laws (LL.M) in 2013.
Currently Mr. Islam is working independently before the Hon’ble High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He has an excellent rapport with clients and is available for periodic support and advises. Along with his legal profession he is doing mediation and arbitration in the domestic level since his accreditation.
